กองทัพบก เผยเกิดการปะทะชายแดนไทย – กัมพูชา ในหลายพื้นที่ ฝ่ายไทยตอบโต้ตามกฎการใช้กำลัง

จากสถานการณ์การปะทะต่อเนื่องจากวานนี้ (7 ธ.ค. 68) ที่ทหารกัมพูชาได้โจมตีเข้ามาในพื้นที่ภูผาเหล็ก - พลาญหินแปดก้อน อ.กันทรลักษ์ จ.ศรีสะเกษ 

8 ธันวาคม 2568 พลตรี วินธัย  สุวารี โฆษกกองทัพบก เปิดเผยว่า ในช่วงเช้ามืดวันนี้ได้มีการปะทะในพื้นที่ช่องอานม้า อ.น้ำยืน จ.อุบลราชธานี ทหารกัมพูชาได้ทำการยิงด้วยอาวุธปืนเล็กและอาวุธวิถีโค้งตั้งแต่เวลาประมาณ 05.05 น. จนถึงปัจจุบัน ซึ่งฝ่ายไทยได้ตอบโต้ตามกฎการปะทะด้วยอาวุธปืนเล็กและอาวุธวิถีโค้ง

และเมื่อเวลาประมาณ 07.00 น. ในพื้นที่ช่องบก อ.น้ำยืน จ.อุบลราชธานี กองทัพบกได้รับรายงานว่าทหารไทยถูกโจมตีด้วยอาวุธยิงสนับสนุนทำให้กำลังพลเสียชีวิต 1 นาย และได้รับบาดเจ็บ 4 นาย
    
ทั้งนี้ ฝ่ายไทยได้เริ่มใช้อากาศยานเข้าโจมตีต่อเป้าหมายทางทหารในหลายพื้นที่เพื่อยับยั้งการโจมตีของอาวุธยิงสนับสนุนของทหารกัมพูชา 
    
สำหรับในพื้นที่ชายแดนกองทัพภาคที่ 2 กองกำลังสุรนารี และกองทัพภาคที่ 1 กองกำลังบูรพา ได้จัดกำลังพลสนับสนุนการอพยพประชาชนตามแผนเรียบร้อยแล้ว สำหรับรายละเอียดเพิ่มเติมจะแจ้งให้ทราบต่อไป 

Royal Thai Air Force Clarification on Air Operations Against Military Targets in Cambodia

The Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) wishes to clarify the recent air operations conducted against designated military targets within Cambodian operational areas. All missions were meticulously planned and executed in full compliance with national security protocols and relevant international legal frameworks, with the utmost emphasis placed on preventing harm to civilians not involved in the hostilities.

These air operations were carried out jointly with Suranaree Task Force units in response to Cambodian military actions that posed a direct threat to Thailand’s national security, as well as to the safety of civilians residing along the border and Thai personnel operating in the affected areas.

Operational assessments further confirmed significant movements of Cambodian heavy weaponry, force mobilization, and preparations for fire support capabilities—activities that risked escalating military operations and destabilizing the border region. In light of these developments, the employment of air power was deemed necessary to deter further aggression and reduce Cambodian military capabilities to a level required to maintain national security and safeguard the population.

The RTAF executed all missions with strict precision, targeting only military infrastructures, weapons depots, command-and-control centers, and combat support routes directly linked to hostile activities. The effects of each strike were carefully assessed to ensure compliance with the international principles of the Right of Self-Defence, as enshrined in the United Nations Charter, as well as the principles of Necessity and Proportionality.

The Royal Thai Air Force remains fully committed to protecting the lives and property of civilians in the operational area and continues to implement every measure necessary to ensure that all missions are carried out with prudence, professionalism, and minimal risk of unintended consequences.

The RTAF reaffirms that all air operations will continue to be conducted responsibly and only in response to threats that compromise Thailand’s sovereignty and the safety of its people. The overarching objective is to maintain regional stability and prevent any further escalation of the situation.
